I configured my website for two languages using WPML, how can I stop the search button in Spanish from redirecting me to the English side of the website?
I figured that adding the parameter "?lang=es" in the url fixes this issue but how can I configure the search button to insert the parameter automatically when language is selected?
Can you please go to WPML -> Languages and set that each language resides in it's own directory. You can leave the default language to not have a directory.
Yes I fixed it doing that, just wanted to see if you had a different option. Although, Im still having issues with WPML as it creates a new post id when translating a post, so far reviews (even when manually translated) and orders are only shown in the original language. However when requesting real-time availability for accommodations and tours (only ones tested so far) it does no treat them as separate post Ids and let me make the order normally.

Hi,
Unfortunately that is a limitation of WPML we cannot do anything about.
